Whether you have found us while
surfing the internet or were referred here from a friend or
family member, you may have some questions. You're not alone.
Over the years, I have been asked about the various modalities:
What is hypnosis? NLP? EFT? What will I experience during a
session? Do I have to believe in hypnosis? How many sessions
will I need?
For
greater ease, you can click on the questions below to go
directly to the answer. If you have a question that you don't
find an answer to, please feel free to
email me, and I'll gladly
respond.
What is a CORE Changes session?
A session
lasts up to an hour during which you spend
time with me to resolve a specific issue or problem. Each session is
a complete piece of work leaving you whole and complete allowing you
to thoroughly integrate the changes from one session to the next. (Note:
The first session usually lasts an hour and a half so that I can
answer any of your questions.)
Why would I want a CORE Changes
session?
My clients come to
me for
many reasons and from all walks of life. Some of these reasons include:
-
You've tried everything
else to get the results and changes you want for your life without
any success
-
You're ready to learn
about yourself in a way that empowers you to become a conscious
chooser of your life's decisions
-
You want to develop or
excel at a particular skill
-
You are ready to
overcome specific blocks, barriers, or hurdles to achieve a
particular goal or outcome
-
You have decided to
break free of life-long conscious or unconscious patterns that have
been making your life difficult
What is the foundation of CORE
Changes?
CORE
Changes is a culmination of various
bodies of knowledge. The CORE
Changes process is comprised of only
the specific techniques that work
from those bodies of knowledge.
The approach is holistic, meaning
the person is viewed as one
mind-body system. During a session,
I focus specifically on three key
areas. First, the root cause, or how
the person created the problem, not
why, but how. Second, how do they
maintain it. What structure or
process keeps it from fizzling out
on its own. What do they gain by
maintaining it (secondary gains).
And third, what is the best way to
utilize all the resources the client
comes to me with. With this insight,
changes can be made, patterns and
behaviors can be altered, blocks and
barriers can be overcome, and skills
can be enhanced.
I have found this approach works
quite well in helping not only the
client achieve a specific outcome,
but also provides an opportunity for
them to learn more about themselves,
which empowers them.
Since my approach focuses on the
specific inner workings of the human
system, the "how" instead of the
"why" you do what
you do, you will find it more time
and cost effective than most
traditional routes.
Do you use Hypnosis in every
session?
The simple
answer is no. Every session may
consist of a closed-eye process, but
not every session will consist of a
formal trance induction.
How long does
a session last?
In a one to one session, a client
can explore their inner workings and
outcomes with adequate insight to
make the changes they want. The
initial session is between an hour
and an hour and a half long. Future
sessions are up to one hour long.
This allows time to get feedback
about the previous changes made,
discuss the next step in your
journey, and proceed with new
shifts. Whatever is discussed in a
personal consultation is the
client's choice and is confidential.
While many people like to share
personal material to illustrate
their situation, it is not required.
-
How long does it take?
Since everyone is unique in how they
do what they do, their inner workings, there is no easy way to
answer this question. Occasionally people can get results in the
initial session. Other times, many sessions may provide the
desired result.
Although on average I work with clients from three to five
sessions, some clients who are either dealing with a more
complex issue or those who discover more areas that they want to
work on, may require more sessions.
Most sessions take place once a week, yet some clients require
more time for thorough integration and choose to meet every
other week. I wholeheartedly respect that, I think you should
too.
What is a
typical CORE Changes session like?
Each session varies from person to person
and from session to session. With that being said, first it is essential
to establish a relationship where you feel comfortable working
with me. Then we will openly discuss what you plan to achieve while
working with me as well as the specific outcomes for the particular
session.
During the session, you will probably have questions for me. And I too
will have questions of my own. These questions will draw attention to
how you do what you do. This awareness will empower you to make specific
decisions about how you would like to proceed next.
And based on your decision, we will utilize a specific NLP technique(s),
or free up blocked energy via EFT, or use a hypnotic trance to make
unconscious shifts, or maybe a combination of the above.
Near the end of the session, if necessary, I will reorient you back
into the room, and answer any questions you have at that time. In some
cases, I may at that time assign some homework for the following
session.
How
will I know that I achieved my result or outcome?
Sometimes
this will be quite easy. You will know because the behavior has ceased
or your sales have increased. In some cases, there is the obvious
external shift. However, in most cases, since we are altering your inner workings, it requires you pay attention
to how you feel afterwards. Sometimes these are subtle shifts, and
sometimes they are quite apparent. You have to notice the differences.
Are you responding to situations the way you would like to? Do you have
more confidence? Are you more at ease in challenging situations?
As you pay attention to how you feel from one session to the next, you
will be better able to monitor (and give feedback) of your own progress.
Do you work with all types of
clients?
No. Although,
I will work with any age or
issue, there are times when a client isn't ready for what I have to
offer. As mentioned earlier, there may be secondary gains which the
client is not ready to give up. Every person is entitled to the phase of
life they are in. And sometimes that phase is "lets get to work on it,"
and sometimes it's "let me sit with it a bit longer." And that too is
perfectly okay. When you are ready to make some shifts, you are ready
for CORE Changes.
And there are times when I will begin working with a client, and they
will feel the need to stop and take a break. That's okay. I've been
there and know what that is like. Take all the time you need. Change can
be quite profound at times. Give yourself permission to change at a
healthy pace for you. And when you are ready to begin again, I'll be
there for you.
